Added Support to Configure Column Width for Bluetooth Printers
Firmware v30.27 ESC/POS. The Generic GUI driven updater is suitable for standalone Windows based PCs. This Generic updater is a user navigated utility in which user needs to start and navigate through the firmware update process.
The Printers module contains a new drop-down list called Number of Columns that allows you to select the column width for Bluetooth printers. This setting determines the report width so that guest checks and reports print with center alignment. By default, the width is set to 32 columns.
Added Support for Bixolon POS and Mobile Printers
The following printers are now supported:- Bixolon SRP-350III Serial printer
- Bixolon SRP-350plusIII Ethernet and Serial printer (requires firmware version SRP-350plusIII v01.00 ORC 051216 to work as an Ethernet printer)
- Bixolon SRP-F310II Ethernet and Serial printer (requires firmware version SRP-F3011 v01.00 ORC 053016 to work as an Ethernet printer)
- Bixolon SPP-R300 Bluetooth Mobile printer
Added Support for Printing Thai Characters
You can now print guest checks, customer receipts, and order outputs in Thai. Only Epson TM-T88V (firmware version 30.21 ESC/POS MICROS) and TM-U220B with IDN-ML or IP-ML support printing Thai characters. The printer must have Thai font already loaded prior to installing the firmware.

How to update your product's firmware in Windows using Epson Software Updater
- Do one of the following to open Epson Software Updater:
Windows 10: Click the Start icon and select Epson Software > Epson Software Updater.
Windows 8.x: Navigate to the Apps screen and select Epson Software > Epson Software Updater.
Windows (other versions): Click the Start icon and select All Programs or Programs > Epson Software > Epson Software Updater.
If you do not have the Epson Software Updater utility, you can download it here. - Select your model from the list, if necessary.
- Select Firmware Updater by checking the box next to it. (Epson recommends installing all Essential Product Updates.)
- Click the Install item(s) button.
- If you see a message asking “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”, select Yes.
- Select Agree and click the OK button.
- When you see the Epson Firmware Updater screen, click the Start button.
Caution:- Wait for the firmware update to complete before using the printer.
- Do not unplug the power cable or turn off your printer while firmware is updating. If your printer has an LCD screen, do not turn the printer off even if the screen turns blue or turns off.
- The printer will restart on its own once the update has completed. If your printer has an LCD screen, it will show the home screen after restarting.
- When the firmware update is complete, click the Finish button.
- When you see a completion message, click the OK button and close the Epson Software Updater utility.
